Buildings account for around 40% of the total energy consumption and around 40% of all raw materials use; more than a third of all carbon dioxide emissions are related to buildings and we spend 90% of our time indoors. These facts help make green building a source of major economic and environmental opportunity.

Significant reductions can be made through factors such as low-energy building design, natural heating and cooling and use of day lighting. And your choice of interior materials, including carpet, can make a real difference too.

Interface carpet tiles are tested and certified according to a number of international schemes and our products and services can help you improve the rating of your building in established standards, such as:

GuTGemeinschaft umweltfreundlicher Teppichboden (GUT)
